GKD's Signature Training Programmes

The Leaders of the Garry Kelly Division have developed 3 Signature Training programs for all team members to benefit from. These programs are exclusively available to the team and are conducted by the Leaders themselves.

With more than 80 years of real estate experience among the Leaders, they are well-versed in the challenges and pain points that agents face on the ground. Hence, the Signature Training programs have been carefully developed to empower team members to have the relevant knowledge and skills to outperform in their real estate careers.

The 3 Signature Training programs have been named The T.I.P.S. Strategist, The Big Swing and Soft Skill Masterclass. These programs cover Residential and Commercial properties, asset progression strategies, commercial property positioning, shophouse focus, soft skills development, deal closing and objection handling techniques. 

After completing the programs, agents will be equipped with current, relevant and immediately applicable knowledge and skills to help make a fundamental difference to their clients. Client service and satisfaction are very important in the real estate business, as it will not only result in the returning clients, there will also be an ample number of warm referrals.

The T.I.P.S. Strategist

This program has been carefully created by Garry and Kelly for all team members, who are interested in the residential real estate market. Garry and Kelly have developed this program to help realtors understand how to use safe strategies to asset progress for their clients. These strategies have been conceived by Garry and Kelly with their multiple years of experience and application for clients.

Safe asset progression strategies are important for realtors to understand and customise for their clients, as clients have different needs and objectives. After attending the program, realtors can help clients invest, right size or upgrade to achieve their goals.

The Big Swing

The Big Swing program has been strategically catered for experienced and new realtors, who are keen in the commercial property market. This program is presented by Richard and Helen, who have been in the commercial real estate market for many years and have gained a tremendous amount of industry experience and knowledge.

The program consists of 4 important components, which are in-depth Commercial property knowledge, effective negotiation and soft skills development, proven prospecting methods and one on one mentorship with Richard and Helen. Realtors will be empowered to apply their knowledge with differentiation, thereby achieving their breakthroughs and exceeding their clients' expectations.

Soft Skill Masterclass

Charles and Leslie conduct the Soft Skill Masterclass, which has been developed for all realtors to build a strong repertoire of soft skills that they can use with different parties and situations. Soft skills are very important to manage and negotiate real estate transactions. With their combined experience in real estate sales and training, they are able to connect and relate with experienced and new realtors.

Besides building their soft skills in the program, realtors will learn more on pricing strategies and negotiation skills. These are important components for a realtor, as there are multiple parties that a realtor will need to interact with, namely, buyers, sellers and co-broke agents.

With the onset of COVID-19, all the workshops have moved from being held physically to digitally, through Facebook Live and Zoom. As we have been used to having training sessions and workshops physically, the transformation to going digital brought about initial challenges, which we quickly overcame and adapted to the new normal.

Currently, most of our workshops are held online, which brings about many benefits for the host and the participants. Equipped with the tools provided by software platforms, workshops can be delivered in a conducive and creative manner, while providing convenience and comfort for the participants.

GKD members' achievements is a testament to our training programmes 

GKD realtors have benefitted immensely after attending the signature training programs. In addition to the programs, is the mentorship and peer support that has enabled many realtors to achieve their breakthroughs.

Of particular note are George Lau and Raymond Giam, who attained the Super Platinum Achiever award in May 2021 and August 2021 respectively. This award is conferred to realtors who cross $250k of commissions  in a singular month.

Numerous GKD members have attained various awards like Top Transactor, Platinum Achiever,  Super Gold Achiever and others over the years. With the robust framework and support, more GKD members can be expected to shine and achieve their success.
